About Me

I am a special eduction teacher who specializes in teaching students with a (high-functioning) autism spectrum disorder in Durham, North Carolina, United States. I am (also) currently a graduate student in the School of Education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am in the Educational Leadership Department working towards a Master of School Administration. I graduated Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, United States with my M.S.Ed. in Special Education with an emphasis on General Curriculum (mild-to-moderate disabilities) K-12 and a graduate certificate in Autism Spectrum Disorders. My B.S. is in Psychology.

I am an avid runner who runs half marathons and would love to run a full marathon someday. However, right now, my focus is on teaching full time and going to grad school full time.
