ON-LINE PROPOSAL INFORMATION

Proposals are to be submitted electronically to Dr. Pistorio via the website iase.org. Any additional questions contact her at : pistorio_kalynn@columbusstate.edu

Types of Sessions Offered: Lecture, Multiple Presentation Panel , Round Table and Poster Sessions.

If your proposal is accepted, ALL individual presenters must register by May 1, 2024 to have their name(s) included in the conference program. To avoid any disappointment and having to cancel your attendance of an accepted proposal, please check the costs of travel to the Czech Republic and your ability to obtain a VISA prior to submission. IASE does not provide any stipends for travel, registration, meals and housing.

Review your proposal thoroughly before submitting. Proposals must be submitted in English. All proposals are stored in a secure database.

All proposals were due on or before October 8, 2023.

All presenters will be required to pay for their own attendance and registration fees.

SELECTION CRITERIA

The Program Chair will select proposals based on the following criteria:

(A) Importance of the Topic to the Field

(B) Usefulness to Practitioners

(C) Relevance to Learners, Families, and/or Educators of Diverse Groups

The International Association of Special Education (IASE) 18th Biennial Conference will be held in collaboration University of West Bohemia.

IASE is dedicated to the advancement of the theory and practices in special needs education. IASE promotes collaborative and sustained excellence between academicians and professionals from educational, business and community sectors. The aim of IASE is to provide an opportunity for academicians and professionals from various educational, business and community sectors with cross-disciplinary interests to bridge the knowledge gap, promote research and inclusive practices of special needs in education.

 

How to Donate and Support a Teacher and or Student from the Czech Republic

 

Don't forget we are accepting sponsorships for a teacher and or a student from the Czech Republic.  For $100 USD you can help a teacher and or student attend our upcoming conference. We are accepting donations starting this year, 2023. Get a head start toward supporting inclusive education worldwide. Just donate and continue to Raise Your Hand toward our future.  In the past our IASE members and outside donors have funded over 25 individuals who otherwise would not be able to attend our conferences.  Click on the donate button below.

Art Work Exhibition

The Children's Art Committee is requesting donations of art works by children and young adults for the 2024 conference in the Czech Republic

Start collecting items to donate  that are representative of your uniqueness, your culture, your creative endeavors or talents. Every item will help someone somewhere. No item is too small.  All proceeds goes to the  Marg Csapo Scholarship Fund.
